Design Description
Morph has so many amazing adventures, I thought a fitting outfit for him to try would be that of an old fashioned aviator (with a fabulous moustache of course)! I think Morph would make a great pilot, especially in an old biplane, performing amazing aerobatic manoeuvres like the daring loop the loop! Morph’s outfit includes a brown leather hat and goggles for safety, some sturdy lace up boots, beige trousers and a fun aviator’s jacket complete with logo on the back. It also includes a bright, white scarf to keep him warm when zooming around the skies!
Artist Information
I have always had a passion for drawing since a young age and finally got to complete my Masters in Illustration in 2020. I love being able to depict narrative through my drawings and have recently illustrated a children’s picture book - Alun in the Attic. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience as it had been a goal of mine for a number of years and is something that I have now achieved. I work with different media, digital, pencil, watercolour and acrylics. Over the last couple of years I have enjoyed painting pet portraits in acrylics, dogs being a particular favourite to paint as I have 2 of my own.
Sponsor Information
Royal British Legion Industries is a national charity providing vital employment, welfare and accommodation support to the country’s most disadvantaged military veterans and their families. The charity provides a home to more than 350 veterans and their families on their Kent village. The village provides emergency accommodation for homeless veterans, family homes, assisted living accommodation, care homes and specialist dementia care. On the same village is RBLI’s social enterprise, Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company, which employs more than 100 people - 70% of whom are veterans, have a disability or both. Their teams of injured military veterans produce road, rail and commercial signage for organisations and projects throughout the UK. RBLI is proud to partner with Whizz-Kids to help produce signs for Morph’s Epic Art Adventure which will do so much to highlight the challenges faced by wheelchair users.
Buy a Morph at Auction
When the Trail ends, the super-sized Morph sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz supports young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society. We hope to raise enough funds in the auction to allow 100 more young wheelchair users across England, Scotland and Wales be mobile, enabled and included.
