Design Description
‘Make Your Mark’ Morph uses free and unconstrained painting techniques, alongside a bright colour palette, to send the message that no matter your ability, everyone deserves to make their mark on the world, dream and live freely without barriers.
Artist Information
Sarah Emily Porter is a London-based painter and sculptor. She studied Architectural History at Durham University, before attending Chelsea College of Arts to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art. Her practice explores colour and abstraction through the development of experimental machinery and mathematical systems to manipulate the core ingredients and structures associated with painting.
Sponsor Information
The Fleet Street Quarter BID was formally established in April 2022, driven by the local business community. This enables us to work collectively in leading, shaping and influencing a comprehensive programme of activity – repositioning the Fleet Street Quarter as a leading London district. “As the Official Community Partner for Morph’s Epic Art Adventure, we are delighted to be supporting the first step-free art trail. As the City of London BIDs we work to enhance and promote this historic part of the capital, creating a more diverse and dynamic destination.”
Buy a Morph at Auction
When the Trail ends, the super-sized Morph sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz supports young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society. We hope to raise enough funds in the auction to allow 100 more young wheelchair users across England, Scotland and Wales be mobile, enabled and included.
