Design Description
Polymorphism is a play on words: half parrot, half Morph. Polymorphism describes the occurrence of two or more clearly different forms within a species. Our Morph is taking on two different forms by being both himself and a parrot at the same time.
Artist Information
Sue Guthrie is a professional artist who has produced work for many sculpture trails. She is based in Birmingham where she works as both an artist and an educator, leading art workshops in schools and teacher training events.
Buy a Morph at Auction
When the Trail ends, the super-sized Morph sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz supports young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society. We hope to raise enough funds in the auction to allow 100 more young wheelchair users across England, Scotland and Wales be mobile, enabled and included.
