It’s much more important to be yourself than to follow the crowd and that’s the message behind my book, ‘Odd Dog Out’. The lead character (a dachshund) wears a rainbow striped scarf to emphasise the full spectrum of wonderful people (and dogs) in the world. Everybody has the right to live how they choose, and we love celebrating individuality. We are all so different and not one person (or Morph) is the same. We can all blaze our own trail – how cool is that?
Award-winning author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph is the creator of twelve picture books, a range of bestselling ‘Draw with Rob’ activity books and a middle-grade fiction series starring Peanut Jones. Rob’s series of #Draw with Rob videos, designed to help parents with children at home from school due to the pandemic, became a viral hit when launched in March 2020 and have been watched almost seven million times on YouTube since then. Rob also holds the Guinness World Record for the biggest online art lesson, set when over 40,000 families joined him online to draw a whale in May 2020.
Sky is delighted to sponsor Morph’s Epic Art Adventure trail, bringing to life one of the most-loved characters on Sky Kids screens in a series of brilliant and bold designs across London. This is the perfect accessible activity which will inspire families to get out together on this step-free city trail. Passers-by can look out for Sky’s very own Morph sculptures one designed by Rob Biddulph located in front of Tower Bridge and the other, the Mega Messy Morph, by the Tate Modern.
Buy a Morph at Auction
When the Trail ends, the super-sized Morph sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz supports young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society. We hope to raise enough funds in the auction to allow 100 more young wheelchair users across England, Scotland and Wales be mobile, enabled and included.Find out more
